Hand Painted Kitchens
One of our specialities we pride ourselves on is hand painted kitchens. Whether it is a newly fitted or existing kitchen, we can transform it into the centre piece of your home. Bespoke kitchens are usually painted on site once fitted and drawing on our wealth of experience gained over the years we can help you choose the right colour should you wish. We also make small alterations to existing kitchens if hinges need changing or a door edge needs planing for example. Its all the little details that make the difference between a good job and a fantastic job.
Pine kitchen decoration.
This waxed pine kitchen was stripped back to bear wood and primed using a strong shellac based primer undercoat and painted with Farrow & Ball Estate Eggshell. A varnish was then applied for added protection. The client installed a hardwood work surface and hand made tiles, breathing new life into the kitchen.

New handmade kitchen decoration
This large kitchen was primed and painted with Farrow and Ball Estate Eggshell paint (colour – Pointing). The primer/undercoat and first coat of paint are completed before the granite worktop is fitted. We always finish the work by brush to attain the smoothest possible finish. 1980’s bespoke kitchen revamped
This kitchen was a bespoke kitchen fitted in the late 80’s. The current owners had lived with it for 10 years and decided it was time for a change. The quotes for the new bespoke kitchen seemed expensive once we had quoted to recondition the existing kitchen. With a few modifications, new flooring and reconditioning of the units we transformed the kitchen space into something that cost a fraction of a the new alternative. One year down the line when the follow up pictures were taken, our clients are still over the moon and it ‘still feels like a new kitchen to us’.
Trompe L’Oeil Kitchen
This kitchen in Mayfair was revamped by painting the flat doors to look as if they were panelled using a highlight and shadow technique for the bevelled panels and a lightly dragged glaze for added texture. We brightened up the laundry room in the cellar with a mural of flowers at the waters edge. The arched ceiling was painted in a sky like scene.
